วันนี้อยากนำเสนอ สำนวนสำนวนหนึ่งที่คนที่เคยอกหักอาจจะเคยได้ยินมา สำนวนนี้คือ

สำนวนนี้ใช้เมื่ออยากจะพูดถึง กรณีที่ถ้าเราเสียอะไรไปหรือทำอะไรไม่สำเร็จ ก็ยังมีผู้คนหรือความเป็นได้ดีๆอื่นๆอีกมากมายให้เลือก คือไม่ได้มีแค่สิ่งนันหรือคนนั้น ซึ่งเปรียบเปยกับปลาในแม่น้ำที่ยังมีอยู่อีกเยอะ ถ้าเปรียบเทียบกับสำนวนในภาษาไทยเราก็น่าจะคล้ายคำว่า แผ่นดินไม่ไร้เท่าใบพุทรา ซึ่งแปลว่า ยังมีทางเลือกหรือตัวเลือกอีกมากอย่าเสียใจกะสิ่งที่เสียไป (ดังเพลงของ เสียแล้วแล้วกันไป เสียแล้วหาเอาใหม่ (กลัวทำไมถ้า ต้องเสีย) เสียแล้วหาไม่ยาก ช้ำแล้วไม่ลำบาก)

ซึ่งมีความหมายว่า ไม่ได้มีแค่คนคนนั้นหรือสิ่งสิ่งนั้นในโลกนี้ ผมได้เคยเขียนไว้บ้างใน เกร็ดความรู้ภาษาอังกฤษ เรื่อง only - แค่เพียง เพียงแค่ ถ้าเอา not ออก ก็จะแปล่ตรงข้ามกันคือ คนๆนั้นหรือสิ่งนั้นเป็นแค่เพียงสิ่งเดียวที่ดี (เอาไปใช้ตอนที่จะจีบคนใหม๊ อิอิ จัดไปอย่าให้เสีย go for it, don't waste it)
ตัวอย่างเช่น
